31 Days of Purple

Wear purple. Raise awareness. Support survivors. Join Chin Up, Girl this October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Mayoral Proclamation: October 17 is Walk It Out for Domestic Violence Day in Murfreesboro
What is it?

A month of purple, purpose, and community.

31 Days of Purple is a community-driven campaign by Chin Up, Girl to raise awareness, funds, and support for survivors of domestic violence throughout October, National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Every Thursday, we wear purple, snap a photo, and tag Chin Up, Girl on social media using #WalkItOutMurfreesboro. It's a simple act of solidarity that says: you are not alone.

Throughout the month we host fundraisers, a survivor empowerment workshop, and community events, all building toward Walk It Out for Domestic Violence on October 17th, the first walk of its kind in our city.
